East Devon District Council has launched the fourth round of its Innovation and Resilience Fund (IRF) Grant Scheme. The scheme offers financial support to local businesses aiming to improve productivity or create new employment opportunities through capital investment projects.

On Friday, 27 local business owners and managers gathered for a social lunch at The Bird’s Nest Restaurant in Honiton. Thanks to Benny and his team for hosting a great lunch – it was enjoyed by all.

After lengthy discussions with businesses it was decided to apply to register Honiton Business Network as a Community Interest Company, so we are now officially Honiton Business Network CIC.

The Honiton Business Network’s inaugural meeting was a success, attracting 25 diverse business owners. Discussions focused on promoting local business, with many joining as members. Upcoming events include meetings on 21st March and 25th April.
